In the past year the teaching of the men in our congregation has taken off! In addition to Sunday school LIFE classes, the men in our chuch have studies the Real Men series, took part in discipleship and leadership classes, attended seminars, and have been proactive in the area of accountability to other Christian men.
Many of our men at Flint River have taken their considerable teaching and handy work skills on mission trips both locally and internationally. They also take part in youth mission trips and many serve on a missions committee that supports the missionaries that are training or are currently in the field.
Other ministries that our men are involved in include hospitality (ushers, parking lot greeters, etc), teaching adult and youth LIFE classes, Helping Hands, constructions ministries, choir, hospital and nursing home visitation, mercy ministries, and many, many more as they serve Jesus Christ.
